Paper out or not loaded correctly

PAPER OUT OR NOT LOADING CORRECTLY

I.  ERROR INDICATOR:
You will see the following error.

II.  EXPLANATION:
This is a printer problem and not in any way related to the continuous ink system.

You may have run  out of paper or this problem may be due to the paper feeder worn out over time, especially if you have already printed thousands of pages.  Another possible cause is using thick photo papers or scratch papers that have crumpled edges.

III.  HOW TO SOLVE IT:
1.)  Make sure that the paper you are using is not bonded together.  Try to separate them or insert few pages only.
2.)  Use new bond papers if you are using scratch papers that have crumpled edges.
3.)  You can also help the printer feed the paper by "guiding" the paper as it enter the printer feeder.

IV.  HOW TO AVOID IT:
Avoid paper jams by using papers that follow the recommended thickness and avoiding crumpled papers.
